RatingsTrack: Reputation Summary Overview

RatingsTrack collects data on your customers' perspectives on your business from your locations with listing providers such as Google, Facebook, Yelp, and many more. RatingsTrack enables you to engage effectively with that information and your customers to manage your business' reputation.

This article provides information on the Reputation Summary page of your RatingsTrack dashboard, which summarizes the data that RatingsTrack collects about your business from customer reviews.

Reputation Summary Dashboard

The Reputation Summary page has four pods, each showing the data that RatingsTrack collects from customer reviews.

  1. Review Counts and Average Ratings

  2. Overall Details

  3. Review Sentiment

  4. Provider Details

  5. Filters

In the following sections, we'll explore the data shown in each pod more deeply.

Review Counts and Average Ratings Pod

In the chart shown in this pod, you can see the total reviews your business has received by month, along with the average rating. Hover your mouse over the chart to see the actual number of reviews and the average rating. You can download a copy of the graphic by clicking the download icon in the upper-right corner of the pod.

Overall Details Pod

The Overall Details pod shows a comparison of the ratings and reviews for your business and your local competitors over the last three months and all time, broken down as follows:

  • Overall Rating
  • Number of Reviews
  • Reviews Responded To
  • Review Response Rate – This is calculated by dividing the total number of responses by the total number of reviews. However, only providers that support responses are included in the calculation.
  • 1 through 5-star Reviews

Support-Only Note

When filtering by star ratings, sometimes the count might differ slightly from the unfiltered view. According to Chatmeter, the unfiltered view uses a different database to process data, while when using filters, a different database is used. Chatmeter increased the concurrency in which both databases are synced, so the counts should always be pretty close. However, there will be room for some difference, as there is no true sync between the two databases.

Unfiltered Filtered by Ratings

Review Sentiment Pod

The Review Sentiment pod shows the proportion of your business reviews that are negative, positive, or neutral. Hover your mouse over a portion of the pie chart to reveal the number of reviews represented. You can also download the image by selecting the download icon in the upper-right corner.

Provider Details Pod

The Provider Details pod shows the number of reviews (count) and ratings by listing provider for you and your local competitors' average. You can use the filters on the right-hand side to see the details by provider, period, or rating value.
