This article contains information on our new features and corrections that were released August 14 - 18, 2023. Bug fixes and improvements were made to backend systems. No client-facing releases were made this week.
Internal and client-specific updates are highlighted in blue. Updates were made to McDonald's custom FTP and Chick-fil-A's Mongo Source Insert Scripts so we can manually map global measures.
Internally, program SQL data was moved to the raw zone in the data lake. Additionally, the following updates were made:
- Updated Feedback Engine to reduce the amount of unnecessary work being performed by the feedback-v5-response-queuer-console and to clarify a common run-time error.
- Updated the new Hierarchy Wizard and Growth platform to provide self-serve abilities for our clients on the new CX platform.
- Updated EMS to improve the error message to be more descriptive of the issues.
- Updated SurveyDesigner to resolve issues with the NPS scale, the question bank, and standard scales.
- Updated WSE to use a global table for Validation Codes.

Internal Improvements
Feedback Engine
- Updated the feedback-v5-response-queuer-console to immediately skip any responses that are not from a FeedbackSurveyV2 source to reduce the amount of unnecessary work being performed by this console.
- Add a default page to redirect from [feedback.smg.com to the Swagger page to avoid confusion on the common run time error.

- Updated to resolve an issue with NPS Scale when creating a new question, so when you edit the labels and then change the Show N/A toggle button, it doesn't make all the answers the same.
- Updated code so the Question Bank standard scales aren't changed across the entire project when editing one Survey
- Updated code so editing standard scale options don't affect all other surveys with the same scale
