This article contains information on our new features and corrections released June 26 - 30, 2023. Updates were made to the Feedback Engine and SMG360.
Internal and client-specific updates are highlighted in blue. Updates were made for Firehouse Subs, Wendys, Kohls, and Insomnia Cookies. Backend updates were made to the Redshift Database, ML service, Survey Designer, Source Creation Tool, SMG360, and V5.
Features and Corrections
Feedback Engine
- Updated to allow a No Icon "Feedback" button option
- An update that provides users the ability to export a template to use to bulk create, update and remove users. This template gives the user requirements needed to create a new user.
SMG360
- Fixed a bug causing the comment page to give an error error "Error retrieving data" and not populating data,
Client-Specific Features and Corrections
Firehouse Subs
- Set up a new Case API for Zendesk to send cases to SMG.
Wendys
- Shutdown old WEND_CSI_customisation_level_reporting process
Kohls
- Provided Kohl's Non-Purchaser Survey Mini Data an alternate plan for Kohl's specifically
Insomnia Cookies

Did a survey revision to add a survey instruction that outlines the specifications for the Loading Page so we're not trying to pass form values that don't exist
Internal Improvements
Redshift Database
- Restored SuveyMini's ad-hoc surveys data
ML service
- Fixed a bug that prevented Gateway from accessing the ml service in a timely fashion
Survey Designer
- Fixed the SQL procedure that was causing Survey Designer to throw generic errors
- Added character limits on text boxes
- Remove unnecessary echo/storage of untrusted data
Source Creation Tool
- Fixed a bug so when creating a new sourcefilter its default value to Null, and when updating a sourcefilter, it leaves the current value
- Updating so it will update existing clients instead of creating a new source.
SMG360 and V5
- Fixed a bug causing calls-console errors in prod. Released Retention Reporting
